Some biscuits are made. This one is engineered — layer by layer, grain first.
Miltam is a ragi biscuit sandwich: two thin, butter-baked ragi biscuits with a layer of real peanut butter between them, the entire piece dipped in 80% dark compound chocolate. Three layers. Three textures. One 18g piece. Five in a box.
The format will remind you of a TimTam. The ingredient list will not.
The ingredient story
Ragi forms the entire biscuit base. No maida. No wheat flour. No mixed-grain shortcut. Finger millet has been a staple grain across South India for generations — denser than refined flour, naturally earthy, and the reason Miltam has a snap that a white-flour biscuit cannot replicate.
The filling is ground peanut butter — not peanut-flavoured cream, not a sugar paste with a nut note. Real peanuts, ground into a spread that carries the ragi's earthiness with fat and depth.
The chocolate is where most biscuit brands make a compromise. Miltam doesn't. The coating is 80% dark compound — real cocoa mass, real cocoa butter, and a bitterness that earns its place alongside a ragi biscuit. At 80%, this is not a confectionery coating. It is the reason each piece is individually foil-wrapped and meant to be eaten deliberately.
